Zoo Med's ReptiVite with D3 is a complete vitamin, mineral, and amino acid complex specifically formulated for reptiles. ReptiVite is calcium based to ensure healthy bone growth with the correct 2:1 calcium to phosphorus ratio.
Originally developed for the San Diego Zoo to correct soft-shell problems in turtles, it is now used by some of the most respected zoos and animal parks throughout the world. The first reptile vitamin to include the complete amino acid complex, an essential component in protein digestion. ReptiVite does not contain artificial additives or fillers like soy, yeast, or sucrose. Use 2-3 times weekly on your reptiles food.

Recommended Enclosure: Juveniles can be kept in an 18x18x12 enclosure. A single adult should be provided with at least a 24x18x12 glass enclosure.
Paper towels provide an easily replaceable substrate. Loose substrate like sand (do not use calcium or vitamin-based sands) can be used so long as it is spot cleaned; impaction is a minimal risk provided proper hydration, basking temperatures, as well as a cup of calcium in the enclosure to minimize substrate consumption. The best setup involves multiple hides placed on both the warm side and cool side of the enclosure, as well as at least one humid hide.
Feeding: Leopard geckos are insectivores and will thrive on a varied diet of feeder insects. Hatchlings are large enough to fed a staple of ¼-inch crickets or dubia roaches, which should be provided in a feeding dish. Within a few months, leopard geckos can begin feeding on a staple of mealworms. Waxworms, butterworms, and small hornworms make excellent treats, but should only be offered occasionally. Feeder insects should be gut-loaded and dusted with a calcium and multivitamin supplement.
This complete diet is great for geckos with the primary source of protein and fats from egg and protein isolates. Microfiltered, undenatured micellar casein is used as a unique slower digesting protein source. We top that off with both whole egg and whey protein isolate for an incredibly complete protein combination. Additionally, eggs provide unique fatty acids that are absent in plant-based proteins making our Apricot diet a wonderful choice to feed as the primary food. All our complete diets are made at our facility in Zeeland, Michigan using premium, all-natural ingredients.

It is clear that most reptiles are better termed as being ‘opportunistic omnivores’, that meaning that they sometimes encounter whole animal protein in the wild diet. They may obtain most of the D3 that they require after exposure to natural sunlight and vitamins A and E from plant compounds, but there could still be a shortfall due to largely insect and plant based captive diets.

The Pangea Gecko Diet with Papaya™ uses a combination of fruits that your geckos will not be able to resist. This diet was one of our first complete diets and was based on the popular Original Pangea Fruit Mix Treat™. It has been formulated using only the highest quality ingredients, including all-natural USA-produced dried fruits, whey protein isolate, algaes, and more. Our ingredients are selected to contain very low levels of anti-nutrients like oxalic acid and phytates. We do not use any seeds, nuts, seed meal, cereal grains, or high oxalate fruits or vegetables in our product. We developed this product here at Pangea and hired a Ph.D. in animal nutrition to make sure we got it right.
Our Meal Replacement Powder (MRP) for all Fruit-Eating Geckos, such as Rhacodactylus, Phelsuma and Gekko. Also a great supplement for other species such as Anoles, Skinks, Chameleons and Iguanids.

DIRECTIONS: Mix one part MRP with two parts water by volume as a starting point. The mixture may appear watery at first, but will thicken after several minutes.
