It measures the level of copper, which is routinely found in untreated tap water and is used as a medical aid for fish with various ailments. However, when the copper levels reach a certain point, their beneficial aspects become harmful and can impact the inhabitants of your tank in negative ways. The kit can measure dissolved or barely dissolved copper with a pH between 7.5 - 9. Can provide up to 50 accurate tests on tap or aquarium water.
